Hey blogfam, how is everyone doing, happy Monday to all. For the most part in the past, I have on showcase different shoes and types that would probably be found in my store. But if you know anything about an emporium, its the type of store that sales a multitude of things. With that said, I will be selling various other items in my store beyond sneakers. So I am gonna start posting the other types of things I am looking to sell and I want feedback from you all as to whether or not you see it as a good idea or not. So please feel free to give your honest opinions on the matter, because I'm here to supply what my customers want and nothing less. Postings coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!

yo bloggers, its good to be back. I've been away for quite awhile and I must admit, I lost a bit of passion with keeping my blog afloat. People, I have missed you all so much here in blogland, but I must admit, life is truely a gift and it is amazing but boy can it take you through some trying times. Im sorry I've been away for so long, but my life since the flip of the calendar year has not gone the way I planned it. Now of course, some of that is good news and alot of it not so good news, but thank God I'm still here and I've made through. I just want you all to know that I have adjusted and gained a new focus on the plan, and I wont be leaving you guys for that period of time again. VanGogh Emporium Sneaker Boutique is still gonna come to pass, but I have fallen behind due to life's roller coaster ride. For you see, challenges are inevitable in this life, how you make your name is how you deal with those challenges. Long story short, please if you have considered not following us based on lack of interaction, please reconsider, we will do better to keep all our blog family up on things that are going on with us. There will be some potential changes within the infrastructure of VanGogh ESB, but trust us, you will love them. Stay tuned.......................

A Change Is Gon' Come

This is long overdue as I have been busy and not able to do my blogging thing this week. But, man this is a belated thank you and appreciation for what Barack Obama has accomplished. Now I know that I have all walks of life and nationalites who check out my blog, but I have to say this, America, history has been made. Black people, history has been made. This is what Martin Luther King Jr., among many others, have fought hard, bled, and died for. For this day when America would truly realize, that we should be judged by our character and not the content of our color. I love America for this reason, that its a melting pot of race and nationality and that makes America beautiful. In the same breath, it is made ugly by the fact that for a long time, it hasn't treated all of those who make up that melting pot with the same respect or equal value. So on November 4, 2008, America took a step towards possibly giving us all hope that we truly are judged by our content and not our skin or heritage background. Barack Obama, we salute you and your focus through all the trials and tribulations faced along this 22 month journey. Much respect to John McCain and his people, but America I present to you, President Barack Obama. Sam Cooke said it best, "I know a change is gonna come, oh yes it will"

We here at VanGogh Emporium would like to encourage all of those old enough to vote to please get out and do so. It does not matter who you are voting for, just please make sure your voice is heard. I know alot of you feel like your vote does not count, or you may feel like your candidate of choice is going to win anyway, but this is not the election to be assuming anything. This is also not the election to just go through the motions and say whoever wins, wins. This is by far our generations most important election-to-date. Our country is in a major crisis of almost Great Depression proportions. Our troops are still fighting, in my opinion, a war that got off track a long time ago. By all means, Vote people, this is serious. Do not be so quick to vote strictly on color, but more importantly, on who you think will benefit your needs and issues the most. We appreciate all who frequent our blog regularly, words can not express our thanks and appreciation. Thank you, and again GET OUT AND VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!
